1. Water and lemon purifies you and facilitates diuresis

If you get used to drink it first thing in the morning, it will help your body eliminate the toxins piled up during the night time. We all know you are probably dreaming about coffee since the alarm clock rings, but you need to resist!
Allow at least 15-20 minutes before enjoying your well-deserved coffee.
If you happen to have a citrus allergy (or simply can’t stand lemon), starting the day with a good glass of lukewarm water will help in any case.

It really is that easy. Heat some filtered water in a kettle or a poacher, and be careful not to boil it. The water should be just a little warm when you’ll drink it.
Meanwhile, squeeze one lemon (you can start with just half of it if you feel like that’s too much) and pour the juice into a cup or a tall glass of water (circa 1cup/250ml).
